wsp run
usage: wsp run [<project>] [--beside <thread>] [--branch <branch>]
[--cwd <path>] [--agent <id>] [--model, --effort, --access <word>]
[--fast] [--notify <thread|me>] [--title <title>] [--replaces <thread>]
[--file <path>] [--detach] "<message>"
an agent works in the project's folder and you read its reply: a thread with
the agent, model, effort and access the app offers; a project on a box runs in
its folder there as the login the box was added with; --beside runs it in the
folder another thread works in, on that thread's computer; --branch runs it in
a worktree of the project's repo on that branch, made under wsp's folder
unless one already holds it, and --cwd in a folder inside the project or one
of its worktrees; with no project, run from inside one of your project
folders, or from a thread, beside it; follows its first turn, or with --detach
prints the id and returns
--beside a thread whose folder the new thread starts in, by its id or a
prefix, on the computer it runs on; never with a project or
--branch
--branch a branch other than the one the project's folder has checked
out: the thread runs in the worktree holding it, made under
wsp's folder from the folder's current commit for a new branch
--cwd a folder inside the project or one of its worktrees, absolute,
to start the thread in; the project's folder without it
--agent which agent runs the thread, by its catalog id (claude, codex,
opencode, cursor); the project's own default without it
--model the model the turn runs on, by the agent's own slug
(claude-sonnet-5); the thread's own without it
--effort how hard the agent thinks, by its own word (low, medium, high,
xhigh, max); absent on a new thread means the agent's default;
on send, the thread's own
--access how far the agent may go without asking: ask, auto-edit, full or
plan, refused where the agent has no such mode; without it, the
project's, else the agent's default, else full
--fast run the turn in the agent's fast mode, on a model that offers
one; refused naming the model otherwise
--notify where each turn's end is sent, a thread's id or me; repeats
--title what to call the thread; the agent names it from its first
message without one
--replaces a stopped or failed thread this one restarts, by id or a prefix;
the host settles it once this one starts
--file a file on this computer to send with the message: an image goes
as an image, any other file lands in the thread's folder and the
message names its path; repeats
--detach print the thread's id and return, leaving the reply to the
thread's finished line
--json print the raw protocol values, one JSON object per line, with
everything else on stderr
--state the state file the host serves
--host run the line against a host on your account, by the name wsp
hosts lists it under; WSP_HOST names one for a whole shell
MCP tool: run.
